Water that otherwise would have run off into the sewer system can now be reused. People use water from rain barrels to wash cars, water veggies, or fill pools. As a result, rain barrels will help you save money on your water bill, improve the health of your garden, and reduce storm runoff.

EcoSuperior is an incorporated environmental non-profit organization, located in City of Thunder Bay, Ontario, and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

Since 1995, they have been offering meaningful programs and services to help educate and inspire us to build a healthy future for people and the planet.

Steps to painting your own rain barrel!

Step 1:
Sketch out a plan for the barrel.

Step 2 : You must wash and sand the barrels
Step 3 : Prime the barrel (2 coats of primer)

Step 4:
Sketch your plan onto the barrel
Use stencils to make some of the big shapes easier to do.

Step 5:
Start painting in the background and all the large images / shapes of your barrel .

Step 6:
Now you can go ahead and do smaller details.

Step 7:
Ask a freind to pop by and give you a helping hand or some feed back.

Ask them to just hang out.
It's always good to take breaks and stretch!

Step 8 & 9:
Once you complete your barrel, spray & weather proof your barrel .

Then stop to admire your beautiful artwork!
